• 30  years in credit union industry

• President/CEO of Vista Federal Credit Union in Burbank, California and Orlando, Florida for nearly 15 years and Vice President with the credit union’s sponsor, The Walt Disney Company, for nearly 15 years.  Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vista’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Vista Financial Services LLC, from its inception for over 7 years.   Under Stan’s leadership, Vista FCU experienced tremendous profitable growth, including over 700 percent growth in loans, and over 500  percent  growth in assets, membership and capital (undivided earnings and reserves).  The credit union’s Net Worth to Assets ratio was  consistently above 10 percent and the Loan to Share ratio was above 80 percent and as high as 100 percent

• CEO of South Bay Credit Union in Redondo Beach, California for 2 years.

• Owner of management consulting company, ABRAMS & ASSOCIATES CONSULTING, INC.  Multi-disciplined consulting practice that provides a wide range of strategic and operational services and project management to credit union clients ranging in asset size from over $3 billion to $55 million, credit union service organizations, the California credit union state trade association, and other  industry-related organizations. 

• Vice President of Orange County Teachers Service Organization, Inc. (OCTSO) in Santa Ana, California for 2 years.   OCTSO was the wholly-owned subsidiary and Credit Union Service Organization of Orange County Teachers Federal Credit Union (OCTFCU), the largest educational credit union in the nation.   Managed OCTSO’s insurance agency that provided a full line of life and disability and property and casualty insurance products to the members of OCTFCU.  Also managed a discount securities brokerage operation.  Served on the senior management team of OCTFCU for 2 years.

• Management Consultant for the California Credit Union League (CCUL) for over 6 years, including Manager of consultant and sales staff in Southern California for 3 years. Provided a wide range of strategic and operational consulting services and advisory for CUNA Mutual insurance products to credit unions throughout California.  Facilitated over 50 strategic planning seminars for volunteer leadership and senior management teams of credit unions ranging in asset size from $1 million to over $1 billion.  Developed and presented numerous one-day seminars on financial management, delinquency control and board of directors’ orientation to professional management, staff and volunteers in various cities throughout California.  The CCUL is the trade association for credit unions in California and Nevada. 

• Collections Supervisor for Courts and Records Federal Credit Union in Los Angeles, California; Collection Officer for Litton Employees Federal Credit Union in Woodland Hills, California; and, Collections Manager for TICOR Credit Union in Los Angeles, California for a combined total of 3 ½ years.

• Prior to entering the credit union industry, worked as an Accountant for the County of Los Angeles in the Municipal Court, Los Angeles Judicial District, for over 6 years.
